Wanted you to know that we are very pleased that Alan was able to find and purchase a home that is exactly what he was looking for, within his budget, on a nice lot, and in an area so convenient to work and shopping. The house is designed with excellent use of space and many subtle upgrades. He appreciates the large island in the kitchen with plenty of storage. Your choice of appliances, cabinets, counter tops, and flooring is something he especially liked. Basically, all of his “wants” for his first home, he found and then some.
As we walked through the finished house before closing, we appreciated that you thought about what the buyer would want. The list is long of “extras” that you included in this home….from the bathrooms, to the kitchen, to the storage, to the flooring, wider baseboards, marble window seals, covered patio, and many cell fans with wall switches that control the lights and fan separately and more. The outside finish with the stone trim and lighting is very attractive. Great to have upgraded architectural roof and the low maintenance vinyl eves. He has a couple of projects in mind for the near future including painting the garage floor and screening the patio. He is very proud of his first home.

Building a home with McFarland Construction was a great experience. We looked at many homes before we went to see a home built by the McFarland’s in Citrus Hill, but it was already a pending sale. We went to their office and met the nicest people in McFarland Construction. They were very comfortable people to work with. They were in constant contact with us through the whole process. They built our home in a timely process. We received a top quality home at an affordable price. They are definitely the contractors to work with. Our home in Citrus Hills is beautiful. We recommend them highly. Thank you to Donald, Debra and their sons. Love our new home.
My husband, Brent, and I love everyone at McFarland Construction, Inc. We are first time home buyers and really didn’t know much about the process. We feel very fortunate to have worked with them. They answered all of our questions in a very timely manner and were always exceptionally courteous and knowledgeable. I was 6 months pregnant when we started the process, so I had lots of questions. The home they built turned out more wonderfully than we ever expected. We have had so many compliments on it! The lady who delivers our mail even stopped to tell us how much she loved our home! We would recommend McFarland Construction to anyone who is in the market for a new home. You definitely cannot go wrong with them!

We wanted to express our deepest thanks for all the hard work that went into our new home on Getty Lane. The house is beautiful and we are more than pleased with it. It is evident that all aspects of this home were considered and completed in a professional manner. We also want to say a special thanks for going above and beyond to make sure everything is just how we wanted it. We when started this process we never imagined that we would end up with almost 20 change orders. Even with all these changes you went out of your way to accommodate us even after we closed on the home.
A special thanks to Kyle for putting up with all the late changes on our kitchen package and for managing to get so many sub-contractors over to the house last Thursday. He is true to his word and that is hard to find in this day and age. As a matter of fact your entire company is based on honesty and integrity a rare combination in today’s world.

McFarland Construction and Debra (The In-Office Real estate Agent) made my “first time homebuyer” experience a wonderful one! From helping me chooose which house model is the best for me, to helping me choose colors, fixtures and other stuff when construction was in full swing. They were Great! I am now enjoying my first home thanks to McFarland Construction!

Dear Debra, Don, Cody and team McFarland,
Ann and I would like to thank you for the excellent job you did on constructing our retirement home in Homosassa.
We spoke to several construction companies who seemed uninterested in building anything below 1800 square feet. Debra McFarland, not only greeted us with “open arms”, she treated us with respect and worked with us throughout the entire process.
When we first walked into your office we were impressed by the professionalism and drive to get work done. Not only was there a great variety of house plans to choose from, your starting prices were very affordable. After we deliberated, we decided on purchasing the Magnolia model home with several amenities. Debra was a great person to work with and helped us with the numerous, I.E., floor tile, colors inside and out, cabinets etc. She was very patient as we decided on what we wanted in our new home.
On November 3rd, 2017 we signed a contract with McFarland construction. Ground was broken on our new home in December 2017 just before Christmas and we closed on June 1st, 2018. Living in Georgia, we were able to visit the construction site about once a month and we were impressed with both the quality of work and how fast things progressed. Cody was our construction manager and he was always there to answer questions and to listen to our concerns. He was very professional during our home construction and he was always “on the ball” having all the sub contractors scheduled to do the work. Several of our surrounding neighbors told us that there was never a slack in the work.
We have heard from many friends and acquaintances that there was a lot of stress having a new home built. This was not the case with McFarland Construction. From the building permits to closing it was stress fee. We are very pleased with the retirement home McFarland built for us.
Whether you are looking for a small 2 bedroom or a larger home McFarland maintains the same professionalism throughout the entire process.
