Crystal River / Homosassa –

Located on the west coast of Florida, Crystal River and Homosassa allow an outlet for those who are fishing enthusiasts. Each town offers direct access to the Gulf of Mexico and a variety of waterfront access. Each area also offers a variety of restaurants and things to do. Crystal River has a historic downtown area with a multitude of shops and hosts a stone crab jam yearly. Homosassa has a beautiful wildlife park where you can truly appreciate all of the wildlife Florida has to offer.

Pine Ridge –

Known as the largest equestrian center in Citrus County, Pine Ridge is an outlet to those who live and love horses. With over 50 miles of horse trails and a large community of others who appreciate nature and horses, there’s no end to what you could do. Integrated within the community is a robust community center that offers tennis courts, horse shoe pits, shuffle board and a playground.

Citrus Hills –

Avid golfers won’t be able to resist the allure of Citrus Hills. Named a top 50 master planned community in the U.S. Citrus Hills offers an exceptional way to live. Residents can enjoy a world-class golf course, two tennis centers, and spa and fitness facilities all on site. Nearby state parks, rivers, and lakes provide a variety of outlets for any outdoorsman.

Inverness –

Slightly in from the coast, Inverness provides many neighborhoods on lakefront property. This is perfect for any fisherman or watersport enthusiast. There is plenty to do in the city as well, the historic Inverness downtown is host to many festivals including the renown Cooter Fest. Nearby is the fairgrounds as well that hosts the county fair every year.

Floral City –

One of the oldest communities in the area, there is a lot of history to be found in this area. This area is more laid back and is host to several parks. If you’re looking for the freshest oranges around there is a local orange grove that provides some of the best fruit Florida has to offer.
